Personal data that we process

North Star Content processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide your details to us yourself. 

For prospecting collaborations North Star Content will process your name and email address (and telephone number/social media contact details if provided).

In the event of business transactions and for delivering services, North Star Content will additionally process the necessary invoicing information, such as your address, your bank account number and VAT number as required.

North Star Content also processes personal data if we are legally obliged to do so, such as data that we need for our tax return. In this case, your data may be reviewed by a third party (e.g. tax advisor).

If North Star Content is hired to manage your business social media account(s), login information for those accounts will be stored securely for the duration of our business arrangement.

Data retention period

North Star Content does not store your personal data for longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which the data is collected. Dutch tax legislation requires us to retain business records for at least seven years.

How we protect personal data

North Star Content takes the protection of your data seriously and takes appropriate measures to prevent misuse, loss, unauthorised access, unwanted disclosure and unauthorised modification of your data. By entering into business with North Star Content you acknowledge that no exchange of data over the Internet can be guaranteed as 100% secure and you agree that North Star Content is not responsible for any unauthorised use of intercepted information.
